The works he has displayed in Bhopal under his recent solo exhibition are the sculptors from past two years. While talking to The Pioneer, Anil shared his experiences and interest in sculptures. Anil said, “Every time it is a new experience for me whenever I work over stones. As the artist does not know what form and what colour would come out when he is ready to carve them.” Elaborating more about it, he said, “I have travelled to places and discovered rare stones over which I have worked.” According to the artist he has left “no stone unturned” to work on different and rarely found stones.
Anil has worked on natural stones like marble, granite of different types, stones found in desserts, near sea shore and many. “This time I have experimented a new thing in sculptures and have added the look of stainless steel in them to create a new look,” he further added.
The sculptures give a sense of mixed thoughts to the spectators, or absolutely no thought process strikes the mind when it comes to reach to a decision. This is because the sculptor has not given any kind of message behind displaying his sculptors. “I want people to see my work and feel it, so there is no particular message or thought behind any of the creations,” he added.
