The theatre artists are learning about the aspect of theatre that actually creates magic on stage i.e. ‘the script’. A script writing workshop is being organised by Karmayogi theatre troupe, Bhopal for the city theatre aspirants.
The two day long workshop began here on Monday. An expert and renowned playwright Sudeep Sohni is conducting the workshop. Notably, Sudeep is an alumnus of Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) and has been in theatre from a long time.
The expert while conducting the script writing workshop emphasized over various aspects of theatre and film. On the first day of the workshop, Sudeep talked about the screenplay writing. He unfolded the facts of the screenplay and how it is written.
To begin with, he created an impact over the basics of the screenplay writing. He asked the students to read an article on film, to read a script of a play and watch the movie ‘Anand’. Anand is one of the classics of Hindi cinema, keeping it as a base Sudeep talked about the screenplay writing. then he moved to detailed techniques of writing.
Notably, the workshop is being organised under the theatre workshop ‘Rangshala’. The workshop is being organized for the youngsters to learn the basics and necessary tips of theatre art. It is also urgent fr youngsters to learn the tricks of the trade. The theatre experts are giving a proper training to the participants. They are being taught the make-up techniques, how to use the props and properties, speech therapy, improvisation of stories, body movements, facial expression with dialogue, footwork on music along with other experimental exercises are being taught by noted theatre personalities of the city.
Notably, in this workshop participants are learning the basic of all art forms from well-known experts who have been invited for this workshop. From this, they can easily enhance their talent.
