Gunga police have nabbed two scooter borne miscreants involved in robbery at Jaitpur road on June 30, a mobile phone and cash robbed from victim were recovered in the investigation.
Police said that nabbed accused robbed victim at Jaitpur road in which a mobile phone from pocket of shirt and cash from pant pocket was robbed from victim Ramcharan Sahu.
During the investigation, it was found that the victim was on his way to home at Gunga from Ratua where he was robbed.
The police acted swiftly and tracked the accused within hours of the robbery. After receiving information of robbery by the victim team rushed to the spot and tracked the scooter borne accused.
Police registered a case of robbery against the two accused who hold crime records. The two were identified as Dinesh Ahirwar(34) of Shabri Nagar and Mahesh Ahirwar(28) of Jaitpura.
The accused confessed robbery and police recovered Rs 500 cash and a mobile phone from their possession. During the investigation police have found that Dinesh has been booked for assault, threatening and robbery.
At the time of robbery one of the accused was standing near road while other was ready with scooter to escape the spot and as soon as victim was robbed accused managed to escape on the scooter.
