Senior Congress leader Jyotiraditya Scindia would campaign for his party in the Shahdol parliamentary by-election that is scheduled on November 19; the tour would be of two days in that he would address about half dozen election meetings besides doing road show.
Scindia a senior Congress MP and chief whip of the party in lok Sabha would be on a couple of day’s campaign tour of the Shahdol lok Sabha constituency on November 7 and 8.
He would start his campaigning tour on Monday November 7 by addressing an election meeting in favor of Congress candidate Himadri Dalbir Singh at village Bhajiya in Badwara assembly constituency of Shahdol at 1 pm, that would be followed by another election meeting at Akhradar in Manpur assembly constituency of Shahdol at 2 pm while his third public meeting would be held at 4 pm in Dhanpuri under Jaitpur assembly constituency of Shahdol. Thereafter he would do road show from 5 pm between Dhanpuri to Badwahi before calling off the day at Badwahi where he would do night halt.
On the second and last day of his two day campaign tour on November 8 the senior Congress parliamentarian would meet the party workers in the morning that would be followed by an election meeting at village Nigwani in Kotma assembly constituency of Shahdol at 11 am thereafter he would reach village Khuta Tola of Anuppur assembly constituency of Shahdol to address an election meeting at 1.30 pm. After addressing the election meeting at Khuta Tola Scindia would reach Jabalpur airport from where he would fly to New Delhi.
