Along with the students of the country, in Bhopal too, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s speech would be listened to live in all Government and private schools or CBSE affiliated schools. The schools have made elaborated arrangements in this regard and timings in several schools have been changed.

Notably, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the students from 3 pm to 4:45 pm and all the schools have been informed about it a week before. The principals of various schools of the State have been asked to make appropriate arrangements at the school premises and the students are urged to attend the live telecast on the D-Day.

While talking to The Pioneer, Deputy Education Officer KPS Tomar says, “We have informed the schools of the State including all private and Government to make arrangements at the school premises so that all the students can hear the message given by PM of the country.” Elaborating further, he said, “If in any case any student cannot attend the programme it will not be questionable as this is purely voluntary for the students to attend the programme, but yes all the schools of the State have been urged to make the arrangements.”

On commenting over the timing of the programme, Tomar said, “Firstly, this programme is totally voluntary concerning the students. Further, for Government schools there is no issue with the timing of the programme as the Government schools usually get over by 5 pm. But if any issue is faced by the private schools regarding any arrangements, then it has to do purely with the authorities of that school. The private schools have to make transport arrangements and sitting arrangements properly so that every child can attend the programme and the students facing rare conditions should be exempted from attending it.”

On the other hand Higher Education Officer Madhya Pradesh, Deepak Joshi said, “The Prime Minister of the country Narendra Modi has wished to talk to the students of the country about the education system and its advances. So we have informed the schools to make arrangements for the students. The arrangements in the cities will be done by the school authorities, and it’s totally up to them how they do it.

The schools having IT advancement can arrange the programme through Wi-Fi connection or through Smart Classes. Other schools are asked to put lCD Monitors and Television sets in the auditoriums. Further, we have arranged e-Panchayats at the villages as well as have arranged the electricity generators in the villages so that no student can remain aloof with this opportunity.”

Elaborating further, Joshi said, “A positive enthusiasm is seen among all the students and parents regarding the programme and we are hopeful that all the students will attend the programme.”The schools of the State are taking steps ensuring that all the students can listen and watch the PM’s speech.
