District Collector P Narhari held a meeting in connection with the 'School Chale Hum' campaign in which officers of the education department and the principals were directed to speed up the work of distribution of scholarship and mapping under social security.
The meeting was attended by the district panchayat CEO, Soofia Farquee. A decision was taken to motivate the people and social organizations for detailed publicity of their services. At the meeting orders were given to show film Hawa Hawai for street children. The drive of School Chale Hum should be so conducted that the names of all the children from 6 to 14 years should be registered in the school so their presence should be ensured.
The teachers should be posted in various working days to register their entry of the children whose database is not available. The collector ordered to take disciplinary action against the teachers and employees who are absent on working days or keep their mobile switched off. He also ordered to present necessary suggestions by the officers of education department and the principals at the meeting to be held on 22 May. Development
The District Collector also discussed with municipal corporation officers about the development of Chauraha rights of advertisement and various public facilities being carried out with public participation.
At a meeting in Bal Bhavan the collector said that at various public places in shopping complexes where Sulabh Sauchalaya are being constructed for men special attention should be paid for the facilities of women. They should also to utilize city bus stops in a better way.
Narhari told the district administration and municipal corporation officers to remove the hoardings installed in violation of the rules. The collector also told the officers to get the model sanction of the development by various institutes so that the development of squares could be completed soon.
At the meeting municipal corporation commissioner Vinod Sharma said that municipal corporation Gwalior is installing road indicators, traffic signal, foot over bridge, bus stop, public facilities and lED street light speedily. Sharma also said that traffic signals are also being installed.
