Skills Career Group (SCG) Job fair would be organised by NIIT in association with Career College Bhopal on 24th June said Director NIIT and IFBI Group of Institutions Bhopal and Indore Amit Taneja while speaking with the mediapersons on Thursday.
Taneja said that it would be open job fair and students across all the colleges could participate in the fair without any prior registration and fee. The job fair will be targeting all the grade and masters including clients recruiting for IT, Finance, Tech Support, Project Management, MIS, Business Analyst, BPO, Data Entry and more.
The basic aim is the placement of the students and job fair is aimed at the placement of the students who are not currently employed or jobless after graduation or PG, he added.
In association with Career College the fair would be organized and fair invites all the graduates and post graduates to visit and make the best use of the opportunity, said Taneja.
Skills and Carreer Group NIIT- IFBI Bhopal has placed around 250 students in the banking sectors with renowned banks likes ICICI, HDFC, YES and Indusind Bank.
Assistant Professor Computer science and Training and Placement Officer (TPO) Career College Dr. Vibha Thakur said that in the past three years around 750 students have been placed. The number of students visiting the fair has increased and at the same time number of students offered opportunities has also increased and this year the number would hopefully increase.
More number of students are placed in management and commerce steams. The Training and Placement cell is operational for the past six years, she added.
