In order to create awareness against Cancer, SBI observed World Cancer Day in its Local Head Office on Thursday. The theme for this Year’s World Cancer Day is “I am, and I will”. A lecture of Dr. Shishir Shetty, Professor and Head of Oncology Services, Apollo Hospital Mumbai was organized for the female staff posted at Local Head Office. Members of SBI Ladies Club were also invited to attend the program.
Speaking on the occasion Dr Shetty discussed about the reasons of percentage growth of Cancer in the society and he also emphasized the need for adopting healthy and disciplined lifestyle so as to keep the body fit and increase the immunity against the disease in particular. During the question-answer session, Dr Shetty explained various reasons for development and preventive measures of Cancer.
Rajiv Kumar Saxena, General Manager Network -I, Sundeep Kumar Dutta General Manager FIMM Network, Deputy General Manager and Circle Development Officer Shri U.
