If we can bring smile on the faces of those in distress, we feel having accomplished our mission to some extent,” said Subhasree Ghose, President SBI ladies Club, while addressing the inmates of MP Anusuchit Jaati Vikas Evam Kalyan Samiti, Mahila Ashray Grih, a short stay home for the women victims of domestic violence at Shahjehanabad, Bhopal.
The inmates of this short stay home were bubbling with joy when a team of SBI ladies Club visited them to enquire about their well-being. Some of them shared their nightmares with ladies club team who assured them support of the club. SBI ladies club also gave away provisions and items of daily need for use of the inmates of short stay home.
Ghose praised the efforts of husband-wife duo Afzal Khan and Samar Khan for the yeomen’s service they were rendering to these less fortunate women by looking after them. Also present on the occasion were Anju Sahay and Jamal Akhtar Kazmi, both vice presidents of the club along with a team of club members.
