Zee TV is all set to launch it new show Satrangi Sasural with a different concept and story. The male protagonist of the show Ravish Desai and Resham Tipnis, who plays the fun loving sasu maa in the soap visited Bhopal here on Wednesday.
While in a candid talk with the media persons both the actors talked about their respective characters and shared their enthusiasm.
Ravish Desai says about the show, “I play Vihaan who is blessed with not one but seven doting mothers and despite being the center of their universe, he is not spoilt but instead is nurtured to grow into a mature, responsible and sensitive individual. The manner in which the relationship of my character with his seven mothers is depicted will make an interesting watch for the viewers. The concept of the show was quite different and that was one of the key reasons I chose to do it along with the opportunity to work with an ensemble of experienced, talented actors. It’s a pleasure to visit the city as my cousins are here and I make it a point to come here whenever I get a break from the shoot schedule. This is my second show and I am looking forward to the audience reaction to my character. I hope audience will enjoy my performance.”
Playing the role of a tomboy bua who does not believe in the institution of marriage, Resham Tipnis’s character is one of a level-headed woman who is extremely health conscious and a gym enthusiast. Resham said, “I play the Bua Maa OF Vihaan. She is a flamboyant and vibrant character who has a sarcastic sense of humor. Even though each of the mothers in law in the house has a distinct personality, the one thing they all have in common is their love for Vihaan, the apple of their eyes. With this new show, I have tried something new and different with the look of my character and I hope you enjoy watching me just as much as you enjoyed all my previous characters.”
The show centres around a girl Aarushi who marries in a joint family of seven mother-in-laws and will be aired from December 3 on Zee TV at 10 pm.
