Addressing the IAS officers under probation, the current chairman Rameshwar Sharma said that an administrative officer should dedicate his work to the general public, aim should be public welfare, serious implementation of every scheme of government in its area and transparency with administrative efficiency. He said that they will handle important administrative responsibilities in the state after being tested. It will also include important posts like District Collector and while living in these positions, you will have to formulate the development and welfare schemes according to the local needs by discussing with the local people's representatives.
Sharma said that it is also been seen in this current era that when talented youths come to the field, they get distracted after seeing practical challenges. As an officer you have to serve the state with full honesty, duty and full devotion. Challenges have to be readily accepted, not to bow down to them.
