He was addressing an event ‘Samagam-Teachers’ Meet’ organised here on Monday. The topic for the teacher’s meet was ‘Career Selection and Career Counselling.’
While addressing the teachers and the students, Ajit Singh Patel threw light on the importance of education and teachers in society and in an individual’s life.
He said that education is the key to success. He said that teachers play an important role in moulding the future of a student. “As the competition at this time is extremely high, we as teachers are taking up the new techniques for students. It could be the career counselling sessions on regular basis or the teacher-student meetings. With these developmental techniques we are trying to shape the future of our students. These techniques on the other hand are proving to be a boon for them,” said Patel.
Besides, during his speech he threw light on the history of institution. He then also highlighted about the career counselling sessions. Patel said, “Career counselling usually makes it clear for a student about what he has to do in future. Being teachers we should also be really clear while we talk about career counselling.”
During the Samagam Teacher’s Meet, the teachers and principals from various institutions, schools, colleges and coaching classes participated. Besides, the teachers also had detail discussion on various other topics as well.
