The Samadhan Yojana started by the electricity company has been failed as the consumers didn’t welcome it. Under the Samadhan Yojana 36000 consumers of City Circle were supposed to deposit Rs 302 crore but till date only two hundred forty consumers have deposited only Rs 41.36 lakh.
Samadhan Yojana was started on September 15 but it was not publicised properly by the City Circle officers besides they didn’t take any step to aware the consumers to take the benefit of this scheme due to that the consumers who have to deposit the big amount of electricity bill were not aware of this scheme.
Electricity Company has started this Samadhan Yojana for the consumers of City Circle consumers so that by November 30, 2016 they can recover the amount of Rs 302 crore.
To get the benefit of these scheme consumers can take the form from the concern zone and apply for further proceedings.
Consumers will get the benefit only once at a time from the Samadhan Yojana. Pending amount of Central Division is Rs 27.59 crore, South Division pending amount is Rs 44.34 crore rupees, East Division pending amount is Rs 70.27crore and North Division pending amount is Rs 159.80 crore.
Domestic Electricity connections will get the benefit of surcharge which is 100 per cent exempt from their electricity bill if they deposit the whole amount.
For Below Poverty line consumers along with the consumers of slum areas will also be benefited if they deposit the half amount of their respective electricity bill and full 100 percent surcharge will be exempted.
