Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Madhya Pradesh president and MP Nandkumar Singh Chouhan said that the country is proud of terrorist Saifulla’s father Mohammed Sartaj and called on the people of the country to felicitate him in their own way.
Chouhan in a statement here on Thursday said that Mohammed Sartaj, the father of the terrorist Saifullla who was killed in lucknow encounter has made the country proud by declining to accept a terrorist’s dead body, further his decision has made the country proud in the world as he considered a terrorist as terrorist despite being his own son. “We all are feeling proud on Mohammed Sartaj’s patriotism. People like Sartaj are venerable in this country because he considered a terrorist as a terrorist though he was his own son.”
Chouhan further said that the words of Sartaj ‘that his eyes are not having single drop of sorrow’s tears in his eyes and that the son who could not became loyal to his country how could he be mine’, are extreme of patriotism. The step of Mohammed Sartaj gives us clear message that how we have to deal with the terrorism in our fight against terrorism, he added.
The senior BJP leader called on the people of the country to felicitate Mohammed Sartaj across the country. Terrorism has become cancer for the humanity in the world and we need to face it by getting united and lifting above our political affiliations.
Notably, Saifulla’s father Sartaj said on Wednesday that what his son did was “not in the country's interest” and that “We will not accept the body of an anti-national.”
