Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar culminated its two day 19 th Annual Cultural Fest with presentations from its Senior Wing on the theme ‘Enterprising India #Living The Virtues.’
The two day annual function festival comprised of Junior and Senior wing in which Sagarites exhibited their talents and values inherited of the epitome of humanism highlighting the school’s theme of ‘Living the Virtue’. Dilip Suryavanshi, Chairman & Managing Director, Dilip Buildcon Ltd. was the esteemed Chief Guest on the occasion. The presentation began with lighting of lamp and seeking blessings of ‘Goddess Saraswati’ followed by floral welcome of esteemed Chief Guest by Principal Pankaj Sharma in by presence of Chairman Sagar Group, Sudhir Kumar Agrawal, Director Sagar Group Sagar Agrawal,Director Sagar Public School Jaishree Kanwar, governing members of Sagar Public School and SISTec, parents, guests, media and invitees were also present on the occasion.
A vibrant and colorful programme in vivacious attire marked the celebration based on the theme ‘‘Enterprising India # Living The Virtues’’ by over 1000+ Sagarites of Class IV to XII. Sagarites welcomed all by traditional Indian Classical Dance showcasing values in ‘Respect # Culture’ with a strong message of respecting our roots of culture and traditions. In Fitness # Body, Mind and Soul presentation Sagarites presented Honorable Prime Minister vision of ‘Fit India Movement’ and highlighted the importance of fitness as an integral part of our culture and the need of the hour of nation for a healthier future messaging –‘Hum Fit to India Fit.’ Sagarites depicted Courage as service to mankind in Courage # Service with the valor of Shivaji Maharaj highlighting values of leadership, bravery, organizing, skillful, tactful, administrator, daring, faith and respect to all.
An engrossing creative presentation of music of vocal raag ‘Rageshwari’ interlinked the essence of self-consciousness and meditation in Consciousness # Self. Sagarites also presented Ganga Avtaran story with Bhagirath efforts to bring the holy river Ganga to Earth with a message to dream in life. They also highlighted to convert your dreams to reality with hard work with continuous efforts. Sagarites also presented the life story of Dashrath Manjhi - Mountain Man, a laborer who carved a path through a ridge of hills using only a hammer and chisel to shorten the travel between blocks to Gaya town with a message to come out of virtual world of dreaming and identify your goals, lead it with example and achieve it by Perservance # Dreams.
The Annual function celebrations concluded with an emotional presentation of Aspirations # Motherland in which Sagarites messaged serving the Motherland India, its aspirations in context to today’s Youth to move forward.
A memento was presented to Chief Guest Mr. Dilip Suryavanshi by Sudhir Kumar Agrawal, Chairman, Sagar Group and Principal Pankaj Sharma. Speaking on the occasion, Suryavanshi said, “I am delighted to be a part of the annual function of Sagar Public School and congratulate every student of school for enlightening us on humanity in a most creative way.
