Sagar Group SISTec (Sagar Institute of Science and Technology) Ratibad witnessed the presence of ISRO’s Space on Wheels at its campus. Students and faculty members welcomed the ISRO’s Space on wheels mobile bus with great jubilation and excitement. Models, technology and achievements of ISRO have been showcased in this bus of space on wheels operated by the Madhya Pradesh Council of Science and Technology Department.
The students learned about the wonderful world of space science and its engineering with great curiosity. Space on Wheels is all about ISRO’s achievements, programs and discoveries related to space science apart from satellites and rockets released by ISRO with showcasing of equipment.
Vikas Shende, Principal Scientist and coordinator of this program said that this plan has been prepared in the context of Amrit Mahotsav of Independence to encourage indigenous science on the 50th anniversary of the establishment of ISRO.
Sunil Kumar, Technical Officer MPCST has named this bus as Space on Wheels which will be traveling in all the districts of the state. On the occasion, Dr.Jyoti Deshmukh, Group Director SISTec, Dr. Manish Billore Principal SISTec-Ratibad and co-ordinator Prof Kshitij Yugbodh, HoD Mechanical Engineering, were present.
