Alleging that several Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ministers including Nagendra Singh, laxmikant Sharma and Paras Jain are involved in corruption and misdeeds, leader of Opposition in State Assembly Ajay Singh has demanded from Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan to immediately sack these three ministers.
Singh accused Nagendra Singh of involvement in illegal mining at his village in Satna and Paras Jain of involvement in salt scam on Wednesday.
He also said that laxmikant Sharma’s Italian gun was found from the residence of Mining mafia Sudhir Sharma, during IT raids at his premises. He said that the people of the State had reposed trust in the BJP Government and its ministers by giving them the responsibility to run the State.
“But the same ministers are now betraying the people of Madhya Pradesh,” Singh alleged. Referring to Public Works Minister Nagendra Singh as “the favourite minister” of the Chief Minister, Singh said that the police had seized JCB machines belonging to Shiv Shakti Constructions Company involved in illegal mining at Nagendra Singh’s village Gangvaria.
“The State Government is working very hard to hush up the case. This is not for the first time. This company was caught earlier as well for illegal mining in the village but due to protection from the Minister it was left free to plunder the wealth of this State,” he said.
“In the same way, the scam done by Food and Public Distribution Minister Paras Jain in purchase of salt is disgraceful. The Government has become so shameless that it has done huge scams even in salt and nutritional food for poor children,” Singh alleged.
Referring to the recovery of Italian made pistol of laxmikant Sharma last year during income tax raids, Singh alleged that the pistol was handed over to Kamla Nagar police station by the Income Tax Department, but no action was taken by the police under political influence.
“The ministers are directly involved in these cases of corruption and they have the full protection of Chief Minister,” Singh alleged demanding that these ministers should be immediately removed from the council of ministers.
