SAB TV has gained fourth position among General Entertainment Channels (GEC) and has attained 170 TRP which is a significant development in the channel’s growth and popularity, told Senior EVP and Business Head of SAB TV Anooj Kapoor while addressing a press meet here on Friday.
SAB TV’s most popular characters from Chidiya Ghar, ‘Ghotak Narayan’ played by Paresh Ganatra & ‘Mendak’ played by Manish Vishwakarma were present and acted their characters. The show cast addressed a well attended press conference to share their unique experiences with the viewers of Bhopal city. Paresh Ganatra and Manish Vishwakarma left no stones unturned in entertaining the audience by performing and reciting some of their trademark rib-tickling dialogues. Business Head SAB TV Anooj Kapoor told that best part of the SAB TV is to serve healthy family entertainment and it has been successful in entertaining the audiences for the past several years through numerous programmes which have been embraced and liked all over the country.
The channel is working on strategy to increase its penetration. The current penetration percent is around 41 per cent which is targeted to be increased to higher level, he added.
In MP, Mumbai, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh and Gujarat regions the channel is reached new level of popularity and the channel holds number 2 position. In MP, Mumbai, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Bihar and Jharkhand the popularity of SAB TV over shadows Colours TV which is encouraging.
