Every boy should walk on streets in such a way that no girl fears him. With this message, the artists of Kaafila Theatre Troupe performed a street play Sab Barabar on Tuesday at St Thomas School.

After staging the drama Sab Barabar in St. Thomas School, the entire campus echoed with all the students “Every Boy Should Walk Such a Walk Any Girl Do not Fear”. Some students said that the drama should be seen by all parents at par, and all those people whose patriarchal thinking has kept home in their hearts.

With its message Kaafila staged the play Sab Barbaar in Quality Sweets Pipalani, 100 Quarters and Anand Nagar on Tuesday receiving an overwhelming response from the audience.

The play is being performed under the campaign ‘It’s Possible’ started by youth group Ansh Happiness Society. The play is being staged by the artists of Kaafila theatre troupe. The street plays will be performed on gender equality till January 27.

The director and writer of this drama Sahil Khan said that it is important for everyone to be equal in society. Everyone has the right to be equal. Artist Niru Diwakar, while keeping his views, said that any change needs to be initiated by us from ourselves. Only then changes are possible.

Just like charity begins home, equality between a girl and a boy begins at home itself. The thinking has to be changed. “My sister Pooja has a complete right to choose her career and set her life rules then why not other girls,” said theatre actor Bhavesh Malviya. The play was well received by the audience with some impactful message.
