The State Government has constituted a committee headed by Panchayats, Rural Development and Social Justice Minister to implement and assess Swachchh Madhya Pradesh Mission in rural areas of the state.
Its members will include Additional Chief Secretary Panchayats, Rural Development and Social Justice and Principal Secretaries of Public Health & Family Welfare, Women and Child Development, Urban Development and Environment and Public Health Engineering departments. State Programme Officer of Nirmal Bharat Abhiyan will be its Member-Secretary.
The committee will chalk out a strategy for smooth implementation of Swachchh Madhya Pradesh Mission in rural areas and submit its report to a high-level committee.
