Former founder-member and elected director of Kamadhenu Housing cooperative society Ml Goud is fighting against allegedly corrupt officers of the Cooperative department for the past 10 years.
The society signed an agreement for two pieces of land, measuring 14.35 acre at Bagh Mughalia and 4.95 acre at Ahmadpur village. Out of this 4.95 acre land was purchased from the owner with the help of cooperative department’s assistant registrar whose case is still pending in the Court.
A colony was constructed on the land situated at Bagh Mughalia where one BK Shukla of Yashoda Builder wanted 15 plots and started mounting pressure through Cooperative department. The society had rejected the membership application of four persons out of 15 and abolished the membership of 11 persons.
While talking to media persons, Goud said, “To give the plot to 15 persons who were not members of the society, pressure was mounted on the society.”
Factually, he added, attempts were made to dissolve the society. The claim for the plot is pending in the Court in case of all the 15 persons thus they cannot be given any plot by the society.
Thereafter, making the demand of plots legal, a committee was formed in which assistant commissioner of Cooperative department and Nuzul officer were members.
The committee declared 13 persons out of 15 as legitimate and ordered the society to give them residential plots through a letter no 4957 dated November 28, 2011 in which it was clearly stated, in point number two, that no person with the pending case on land in court shall be given land. Here, all the 13 members have their cases pending in court, Goud added.
When the ill-intention of these people did not work, Goud added that the houses of society office-bearers were attacked. later, he alleged that the relatives of the alleged land mafia BK Shukla became the office bearers and president of the society and sold one plot in six months. He has demanded that the illegal society should be dissolved now, as it has illegally been elected by the Cooperative department.
