Following the initiative of Gujarat Government, a run for unity race is being organised all over the country in order to install a statue of iron man Sardar Vallav Bhai Patel. The race would also take place in Madhya Pradesh.
To draw a blue print for the race, district level meetings will be held on December 18. An Assembly level meeting will also be held on December 20.
According to sources, a plan to install 182 metre high statue of Sardar Vallav Bhai Patel on the bank of Narmada River, has been decided upon. The statue is being named as a statue of unity.
The race had kick started on December 15 all over the country but due to the oath-taking ceremony of Shivraj Singh Chouhan as the consecutive third Chief Minister on December 14, the race could not be organised in Madhya Pradesh. Hence, the race for unity would be organised on December 23. The BJP office bearers have started preparations for the race.
