Rudolf Alvares here on Tuesday took over as new SP (Headquarter) Indore. He has replaced Dr Ashish who has been transferred to Bhind as superintendent of police.
Soon after assuming the charge, the new SP (headquarter) said that he would carry out the good works being done by his predecessor on the law and order and traffic positions and would take other steps to further strengthen the law and order scene and traffic system in the city in consultation with senior police officials.
Replying to a question, Rudolf said that instead of forcing people to abide by the traffic rules, he would like that the people themselves follow traffic rules through counseling.
Ashish said he was quiet satisfied with the kind of works done by him during his tenure but he wanted to do a lot on improving the traffic system of the city as he had the plan to set a traffic management centre in the city.
