RTI activist sees threat to life; writes to PM, CJI

Right to Information activist Ajay Dubey in a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Justice of India (CJI) Rajendra Mal lodha alleged that a senior bureaucrat is hatching a conspiracy to eliminate him.

Dubey in his letter to PM and CJI also demanded safety from the State Government’s criminal conspiracy.

Dubey in his letter to PM and CJI sought investigation of the issue through Central Government agencies by providing details of it. “The bureaucrat told senior IPS officer to eliminate me in presence of many other senior bureaucrats and judiciary members who were all in a party of ADJ SK Pande,” Dubey said.

He claimed that Madhya Pradesh Director General of Police, officials of chief minister’s secretariat and many other senior officials were present in the party where his elimination contract was given.

Dubey further said that only central agencies would be able to properly investigate the issue because when my elimination orders were given amid presence of so many senior judicial and administrative officials not a single of them raised voice against it than how can it be expected that any investigating agency of the state would rightly probe it.

He said that ever since we exposed the chief secretary’s involvement in the transport constable’s appointment scam through RTI he is perturbed and it was result of this desperation that he gave contract to eliminate me.

Dubey while talking to The Pioneer said, “I have sought Prime Minister and CJI intervention in the infamous Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB) and MP Public Service Commission (MPPSC) scams because I do not have faith in Madhya Pradesh Government and its Special Task Force (STF) probing these scams that have ruined the career of lakhs of youth of the State besides bringing a blot on the name of State.”
