The Safari vehicle-borne miscreants looted a canter driver and other passengers. The miscreants stopped the canter near Sirsa and looted Rs 54,000 and two mobile phones.
The Ghatigaon police station registered case under Dacoity Act and started search of the miscreants. Pawan s/o Ram Baboo Shivhare resident of Char Sahar Ka Naka Hazira was taking his canter from Morena to Shivpuri. He was accompanied by two other persons. They took tea at a dhaba in Purani Chawani area and made payment to the dhaba owner by taking money from their pockets and left for Shivpuri. At 5.30 pm when they reached Aron Tiraha, a Safari over took them near Sirsa.
They asked all the occupants in the canter to come down and thrashed them. They snatched money and two mobiles from Pawan and fled. A case has been registered in Ghatigaon police station under Dacoity Act against unknown accused. After committing loot, the miscreants fled in their Safari towards Gwalior.
TI Ghatigaon Vikram Singh Bhadauria said that Safari born miscreants committed loot at AB road. They could not see the number of Safari. Manhunt has been launched.
