The police officials are still groping in dark in connection with the sensational misrod robbery case. Even 30 hours after the sensational robbery incident in which a woman was seriously injured by the miscreants, the police are clueless.
Notably, on Tuesday morning, at Pristine Villa under Misrod police station area, three masked miscreants had barged into the house and looted valuables. Before leaving the place, they stabbed the house owner woman in the stomach. The victim is still struggling for life in a private hospital of the city. The victim Smita Chouhan (28) was rushed to a nearby hospital by the locals. The doctors have claimed that the victim is stable and recovering well.
The incident took place at around 6.30 am when the victim was busy preparing lunchbox for her two children while her mother-in-law was upstairs. Victim’s husband who is a farmer was at his farms in Raisen district. After the victim provided jewelry the miscreants demanded for money but on denial and raising alarm she was stabbed by one of the miscreants.
The police have claimed that nothing concrete has been obtained in the investigation. The police have questioned several locals and neighbours, but could not reach any concrete information that could lead to the offenders. Police said that as the campus is not covered it is easily accessible for the intruders. The other reason which was provided by the police was the dense fog which worked as shield for the miscreants.
The miscreant targeted early morning when the road and the locality was deserted. Earlier in the day the Superintendent of Police (South) Amogla Aiyer visited the hospital and visited the victim. The victim in her statements had claimed that some youths who had visited the locality for buying a property might be behind the incident.
