The Railway Police in Madhya Pradesh revealed their sense of insensitivity, on Saturday, when they asked a 14-year-old boy to collect the pieces of a man that had just died after being run over by a train.

Shyam Charan Shukla (30), son of Nand Kishore Nayak, was crossing the railway trucks when he got run over by an Indore train bound towards Udaipur. The victim was tattered into pieces. The Railway Police reached the spot after they were informed of the incident. Seeing the blood that was spattered around and the pathetic condition of the victim’s body, none of the officials of the Railway Police dared to pick up the pieces.

The body lay there for more than 40 minutes with no official of the Railway Police caring to collect the pieces of the victim. Meanwhile, another double-decker train going from Indore to Bhopal passed over the dead body destroying what was left of the dead body. Seeing a 14-year-old boy who was passing through the area, the Railway Police personnel ordered him to pick and gather the pieces at one place. The boy initially refused to pick the pieces but was threatened by the policepresent there.

The boy was made to pick up the torn parts of the dead body and gather at one place. The 14-year-old, who just feared to decline the order of the police slowly and steadily collected all pieces and gathered at one place for the Railway Police to work upon.
