Rights activist from the city Ajay Dubey in a letter to the CBI joint director — Camp Office Bhopal RP Agarwal — on Monday demanded intensive investigation on the select points of the Vyapam scam in order to get the guilty punished.
Dubey in his letter mentioned three points to the CBI joint director including taking assistance from the then Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB) now gone infamous as Vyapam chairman Sawdeep Singh who first brought the irregularities in the knowledge of whistle blower Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and the then chief secretary Parsuram but both the responsible personalities at the place of taking action against the guilty provided patronage to them and transferred Sawdeep Singh. Hence it is requested to take help of Sawdeep Singh in the case and the whistle blower Chief Minister and Parsuram should be interrogated, he added.
The whistle blower Chief Minister pressurised the whistle blower petitioner of the case in the Supreme Court to withdraw his petition in the Chief Minister’s official bungalow on the night of August 11, 2015 that is an act of influencing the investigations of the case. It is clear that the Chief Minister meets people in the Mantralay during day time on most of the days, calling the petitioner at his official bungalow in the night raises several questions over the conduct of the Chief Minister, hence this should also be investigated, he added.
In the last the RTI activist has requested the senior CBI officer to advertise in public domain for collecting information related with the scam and that appeal should be made with the people to provide information pertaining to the scam to the CBI so that the investigating could get precious and fresh information about the scam. The information thus obtained would no doubted be useful to get the guilty punished, he added.
