After failing to track and apprehend the three accused who stabbed a 22-year-old youth at Gandhi Nagar in the state capital on March 3, Bhopal police have declared a reward of Rs 30000 for providing the details of the absconding accused who are still at large.
The reward has been declared on the accused identified as Rajkumar Solanki, Shubham and Lucky Solanki of Godarmau Gandhi Nagar.
The three happen to be of the same family and were friends with the Adnan Khan who was brutally murdered the three accused.
In the evening of March 3 with the start of the holy month of Ramadan Adnan had gone to offer Taraweeh and after which he was asked by the accused to have tea with them and took him with ill intentions and later stabbed him to death.
Sensation prevailed in the Gandhi Nagar area after Adana was stabbed to death ; dispute between the victim and accused was over a girl's revealed the initial probe.
After the murder family and local residents protested at the police station demanding their arrest.
The police registered an FIR and assured the arrest of the accused soon, after which the protest was ended. The incident took place in Gandhi Nagar area of Bhopal at 10:30 pm on Monday. Initial investigation has revealed a dispute over a girl.
Mehboob Khan, a resident of Gandhi Nagar, said - Adnan Khan was his cousin. He was a two-wheeler automobile mechanic. We both had gone to the neighborhood mosque to offer Namaz. Adnan came out after the Namaz. I had started reading Taraweeh.
After some time, Adnan's father screamed and we rushed to the spot. Adnan was seen there in a blood-soaked condition. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
Mehboob said that Raj Solanki, Lucky Solanki and Shubham Solanki, who live in the locality, surrounded Adnan in the street near the mosque. First they beat him with kicks and punches, after which Raj stabbed him in the stomach.
Additional DCP Malkit Singh said that in the initial investigation, it was revealed that there was a dispute between the two parties regarding the girl.
