It is the responsibility of the State Government to honour the sons of soil who brought laurels to the State by getting national Krishi Karman award.
This was stated by the Public Health, Medical Education and Parliamentary Minister Narottam Mishra in 9th Balram Jayanti Krishan Divas under the auspicious of Nandlal Bal Kalyan Samiti in Bhagwat Sahai auditorium as chief guest.
The programme was presided over by the mayor Vivek narayan shejwalkar. The special guest of the programme was state president of Kishan Sangh Shivkant Dixit chairman of gwalior development authority Abhay Choudhry, former president of Madhya Pradesh seed corporation etc.
Mishra said that the state Government said that the agriculture scenario has changed in last 10-12 years. The state Government has taken many important decisions in the interest of farmers.
He said that electricity, water and fertilizer are available for the agriculture in sufficient quantity. the irrigation area of the state have increased from 7 lakh hectares to 37 lackh hectares in last 7 years the MP could make its identity as developing state. Sales Tax
Notice of Sales Tex created panic among the tax defaulter traders for not filing returns of first quarter. The defaulter traders deposited revenue of Rs2.29 crore within a few days in the commercial tax department.
The commercial tax department had issued notices to about 309 big tax payees out of which 251 traders filed their returns. The department started the seizing the accounts of the traders. After the tenure of notice expired accounts of 15 to 20 traders were seized in circle no; 1 their farm limit of form 39 has been reduced to zero.
The department has started work of updating PAN Card in circle no; 1, 80 notice were issued for which a sum of Rs50 lackh was deposited. In circle no; 2, 17 notice were issued and Rs25 lakh were deposited and in circle no; 4, 137 notices were issued and 1.40 crore were deposited.
The commissioner Sudhir Shrivastava said that notices were issued to the traders of more than two crore rupees turnover for not depositing quarterly returns. The traders deposited Rs2.29 crores revenue as quarterly returns. Action is being take against those who did not deposit tax.
