About 150 people entered the covered campus of Government Colony located in Malikhedi, Bhopal and broke two gates. They also misbehaved with the people living in the colony.
Residents allege that when the gates were broken, the councilor of the area was also present. In this matter, the Municipal Corporation and the residents have filed complaint applications in the Chhola police station. People living in slums have also applied in the police station regarding closure of the road by the corporation.
The Municipal Corporation is constructing singlexes and flats under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in Malikhedi, Ward-72. Some people have also got possession. On Thursday afternoon, slum dwellers entered this campus. They said that they should be given passage inside the campus.
On the other hand, the people living here said that the corporation has given them houses in the covered campus. That's why the road is closed. A situation of controversy also arose regarding this matter. People living in the slum broke two gates of the colony and reached inside. He also misbehaved with the people living in the colony.
The commotion continued in Malikhedi for about an hour. During this time Councilor Vikas Patel also reached the spot. Local people accused the public representatives and slum dwellers of forced entry and indecency.
