Campaign to inform new limits of BMC wards after the delimitation should be conducted by Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) officials, instructed district collector Nishant Warwade during the review meeting on preparations of BMC Elections on Friday.

Warwade instructed that the residents under the 85 wards of the BMC should be informed regarding the new limits which have been decided after the completion of the delimitation process. Special drive should be conducted by the BMC officials to inform about the new limits.

He added that voter list of wards should be provided to Electoral Registration Officer to provide published voter list. Important information which should be shared with the voters is to make them aware about casting their votes using EVM and to provide the information EVM machines should be kept in main offices.

Warwade instructed to survey the work for Samagra portal with accuracy and reviewed the pace of the survey work done so far. There should be no mistakes in the survey work as the physical verification would be done by visiting the residence of the registered beneficiary and which leaves no scope for error in the survey work. Ward number 28 has been selected where the pilot project for physical verification would be done.

The instructions were given by the District Collector during the review of survey work for Samagra portal by BMC.
