A reality show “Main Khayaal Hoon Kisi Aur Ka, Mujhe Sochta Koi Aur Hai” featuring the classical music, shayari and ghazal together on a single platform is one of its reality show ever. Aired on DD Urdu from Sunday, some artists from Bhopal have also displayed their talent before the classical music lovers.
Artists like Khushi Pandey, Manas Bharadwaj, Chitransh Khare and Siddharth Parashar are selected from the city to give a performance in the reality show.
Besides, Rashid Rahi from Jabalpur is also a participant of the show. For the first time a unique concept in reality show amalgamating Shaayri (poetry), Ghazal and classical singing on the same platform is fun watch for the classical music lovers. Conceptualised by Ila Arun, the show is also directed by herself. Notably, the auditions for the reality show were also held in Bhopal in June 2013.
Many youngsters gave auditions for the show out of which few of them were selected for the finals. The show is about to complete the finals.
While talking about this show Ila Arun said, “With a view to provide a very different television Reality Show I have conceptualized as well as directed this serial and ‘Antardhwani Productions’ which is my Production Company has produced this weakly reality show titled “Mein Khayaal Hoon Kisi Aur Ka, MujheSochta Koi Aur Hai” commissioned by and for DD-Urdu Channel.”
Elaborating further about it she said, “The initial episodes are made extra interesting and exciting by introducing such eminent personalities as Bashir Badr Saab, Javed Akhtar, Ustad. Ghulam Ali Saab, Shabana Azmi, Pt. Nayan Ghosh ji in our special window titled ‘Khaas Mulaqat’ during these episodes to talk about these genres.”
Pioneers like Prof. Waseem Barelvi, Kavita Krishnmurti and Devaki Pandit would be present in the panel of judges. Mentors like Ustad Maqbool Hussain, Seema Sehgal and Ibrahim Ashq are there to guide the participants. Speacial appearances by classical maestros would be like a surprise package for the show.
