The youngsters of the State capital aspiring to learn music and fine art would be getting a stern platform soon. A music academy, ‘Ravindra Jain Academy of Music and Fine Arts’ would soon open in the city of lakes for the youngsters to learn exceed in their hobbies.
As the name suggests, the academy would be introduced by a noted music director and composer of B’town, Ravindra Jain. The academy would be inaugurated before February 28, 2014.
While talking about the academy, Ravindra Jain says, “I believe my duty is to promote the rich culture of my country across the world and music is the best way. Ravindra Jain Academy of Fine Arts would open the gates for the students who keep a keen interest in the music and fine arts.”
Elaborating further about his constant visits to the city of lakes, Jain says, “It is always a privilege to visit Bhopal as the people always give a warm welcome to me. Further, the people of the city are art lovers so; it would be a great idea to open a music academy for them.”
The academy would introduce graduation and post graduation courses for the students. Under Music there would be courses in vocal and instrumental that include classical, semi-classical and filmi music in Vocal course.
Under instrumental course students would learn all nauras of the classical, semi-classical and movie based songs on instruments like piano, violin, guitar, tabla, harmonium and many more. Dancing course includes the classical, semi-classical, indo-western and western dance forms.
Under fine arts course, the students would be taught different forms of painting and theatre arts.Noticeably, the graduation course is a four year programme and the post graduation is for a two year programme.
While talking to The Pioneer, secretary of the academy RK Sharma informs that the students want to have basic learning course would need to complete four years of graduation programme and those who are experienced may directly apply for the post graduation.
Sharma further said, “The faculty members of the academy would be chosen wisely by a set committee of the academy. The experience artists in every field would be selected to train the children and let them explore the best of their qualities.”
He also informed that guest faculties and celebrities would also be invited with the time intervals to train the students.The academy may either be affiliated to Indira Kala Sangeet University of Khairagargh or Prayag Sangeet Samiti of Uttar Pradesh. The decision is yet to be finalised, Sharma added.
