A cash reward of Rs 5000 was announced for the arrest of the accused. In view of the increasing crimes related to women in Indore district, Police Commissioner Indore Makrand Deuskar and Additional Police Commissioner Indore Manish Kapuria have given instructions to control crimes and investigate crimes.
On Dece 26, 2022, a complainant came to the police station and informed that last night at around 9 pm, he slept at home with his family. When he woke up around 10, he saw that his daughter was not there. After having failed to find his daughter everywhere, it was suspected that someone has lured her away.
On the report of the complainant, at Rau police station, an FIR was registered under section 363 of the IPC.
During investigation, kidnapping was registered on January 03, 2023 and medical examination of the kidnapper was conducted and section 164 IPC was registered.
The statement of the accused was recorded in Court. The victim in her statement that the accused Alkes Surtana of village Jamnjhiri Kali Bawadi police station Dharampuri district Dhar, lured her away for marriage and raped her. IPC sections of rape also increasedi n the case.
In this case, the accused Alkesh was searched extensively. Rau police station raided several times at his residence but no trace of the accused Alkesh was found. In this case, a cash reward of Rs 5000 was announced by DCP for the arrest of the accused. The accused is of very vicious nature.
Regarding the accused, his family members were also questioned several times but they said that they did not have any information. Therefore, technical assistance was taken by Police Station Rau. On 05.10.2023, a police team led by T I Rau Rajpal Singh Rathore arrested accused Alkes from Sundrel Dharampuri district Dhar.
As per the instructions of the senior officers, under their guidance, the police team Rau worked with great hard work and dedication and arrested the accused absconding in the rape case of since one year.
