Bairagarh police have booked a youth for sexually assaulting a minor girl who left newly born at Civil hospital; girl got pregnant after she was raped by the youth.
A case of death of a newborn baby delivered by a minor girl was reported in Bairagarh Civil Hospital, Bhopal. Who was raped by a youth she was acquainted with her.
Police have registered a case against the youth under rape and POCSO Act and are taking further action.
At the same time, a case has also been registered against the minor teenager for leaving the newborn in the bathroom of the hospital.
Bairagarh police said that, on the morning of January 31, the attendant of a female patient heard the sound of a baby crying in the bathroom of the surgical ward of the hospital. After this, the hospital staff was informed. The staff who reached the bathroom found a premature newborn, whose treatment was started immediately. However, he died during treatment on Wednesday. Investigation revealed that the newborn was delivered by a minor girl whom she had left in the bathroom of the hospital.
