RAP demands probe against chit fund firms

The Rashtriya Aamjan Party conducted a protest on Friday at the Ambedkar Park, Bhopal, demanding a high level probe against chit fund companies working in Madhya Pradesh. As many as 300 workers of the party took part in the protest.

Notably, the agitation has created rifts among the party office bearers. National president of the party Sharad Singh Kumre claimed that Arya has been suspended from the membership of the party and the party has nothing to do with his agitation.

While talking to the media persons, Rashtriya Aamjan Party’s National General Secretary Sumit Arya alleged that Registrar of Companies (ROC) had provided the registration certificate to the various chit fund companies while the state government had issued licenses to the chit fund companies to establish offices in Madhya Pradesh. Arya demanded that the government should conduct high level probe on the chit fund companies working in the state. The CMDs and the directors of various chit fund companies should be arrested. Party would initiate the agitation all over the state if the demands of the party remained unfulfilled.

On the contrary, Rashtriya Aamjan Party National President Sharad Singh Kumre stated on Friday that the party had suspended Akbar Khan Gauri, Mohhammed Tahir, Sumit Arya and Harsh Telang for taking illegal decisions and for organizing illegal meetings against the party and its ideology.

While talking to the media persons here on Friday, Kumre said that the party has nothing to do with the protest of Sumit Arya and others in Bhopal or in any other districts of Madhya Pradesh regarding the chit fund companies.

He said that Bhopal collector has suspended the permission of conducting a protest but however, these people still have managed to conduct the protest at the Ambedkar park.

Kumre further stated that Akbar Khan Gauri had announced himself as the National Executive President of the party. However, the executive committee of the party had taken no such decision. Party would take strict action against these people. Kumre clarified that the party wants to protest against the chit fund companies but party’s executive committee would take the decision about the timing and place of the protest.
