There is a direct fight between BJP candidate Rameshwar Sharma and Congress candidate Naresh Gyanchandani in Bhopal’s Huzur constituency.
The two candidates hold the same views regarding the independent candidates that this category or any candidate from any other political party from there is not capable enough to harm their votes.
BJP candidate Rameshwar Sharma won state assembly constituency for the first time from Huzur in the last election and he has an image of fierce BJP party worker backed and loves to embrace controversies which had worked in his favour in the past.
However, it is believed that the strategy could not work this time. This time, only BJP loyalist voters would only garner votes for him.
Sharma said that people are aware of the pro-people policies of BJP and same in the case of Huzur state constituency. He claimed that a lot of development works have been executed in the constituency and the same would continue, if he gets repeated this time too.
The process of development is done by following proper rules and regulations which bring delays sewage, road and water supply pipeline would be done but it would take time.
Few areas would be in the top most priority which required attention and would be developed at the earliest, he added.
Congress candidate Naresh Gyanchandani said that long delay in the development projects has made the people of the constituency to repel from BJP.
The worst state is of Kolar where road and water are the biggest issues which the people are facing for long.
He praised former Congress CM Digvijay Singh who helped sail his political career in Congress apart from other senior leaders when he joined Congress in 90s.
Replying to query of his community’s inclination towards BJP and ardent supporters of the party he said that the inclination would not affect and people would chose from party devoted to development not to their pre-occupied notion of pro-BJP party.
