Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Spokesman Ram Madhav was here on Thursday for an important meeting with senior officials regarding India-ASEAN Youth Summit.
The India-ASEAN Youth Summit is scheduled here from August 14 to 19.
Madhav had a meeting with Principal Secretary to Chief Minister SK Mishra and Secretary to the CM Vivek Agrawal at the UAD office. The meeting lasted for around 45 minutes.
Official sources said that the meeting was in connection with the preparations for the Summit considered very important and thus Madhav has been asked to meet the officials finalizing things.
Under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, members of the Organizing committee are- Union Railway Minister Sursh Prabhu, Union Minister of State for Aviation Jayant Sinha, MP Ministers Maya Singh, Surendra Patwa, A Surya Prakash, Ram Madhav, Swapan Dasgupta, Preeti Saran, Rupa Vasudevan, Sunaina Singh and Shaurya Doval.
The speakers during the summit would be Madhya Pradesh Governor OP Kohli, Union Minister Sushma Swaraj, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Union Minister of State Vijay Goel, Union Minister of State Gen VK Singh, Preeti Saran and UN Resident Coordinator Yuri Afanasiev.
