The grand Shri Ram leela Utsav has become a centre of attraction for the Bhopalites. Its highly innovative decoration and presentation has raised eyebrows of the theatre buffs of the city. The seven-day Shri Ram leela Utsav is being performed at open air auditorium of Ravindra Bhavan wooing the city art lovers.
Under the episodic presentation, Sugriva and Ram friendship, Bali Vadh, Sita's search, meeting with Sampatti, Akshay Kumar Vadh, Ravana-Hanuman dialogue and lanka Dahan were presented here on Saturday.
Other than its presentation, the interesting fact of Shri Ram leela Utsav 2017 is that it is being performed by luv Kush Ram leela Mandali of New Delhi. The artists of this troupe are presenting the best of the performance on stage enthralling the Bhopalites. Even on Saturday the open air auditorium was packed with theatre buffs appreciating the performances by as many as 50 artists.
The event began with Ganesha Vandana. later, Sugriva and Ram friendship, Bali Vadh, Sita's search, meeting with Sampatti, Akshay Kumar Vadh, Ravana-Hanuman dialogue and lanka Dahan were performed.
After Ravana abducts Sita, lord Ram and lakshman sets out to search her in the forests. On their way, they came across many challenges and adventures that were beautifully performed on stage. It is noteworthy that each artist of this group has presented them in such an attractive and descriptive manner by focusing on the selection of characters like Ram, Sita, Dasharath, Ravana, Shri Ganesh attracted viewers as if each character is present live there. Each performance is as enjoyable as the last one.
