The sagacious tale of triumph of good over evil will be extravagantly staged at the open air auditorium of Ravindra Bhavan. The grand Ram leela fest will begin from Tuesday which will showcase different episodes of Ramayana.
The event is being organised by Directorate of Culture, Madhya Pradesh. Interestingly, Ram leela is organised every year. Each episode will be of 7 long hours. Besides, it will be presented by the artists of lakhwash Ramleela Mandali from New Delhi. Amazingly, the troupe will be performing for the first time in Bhopal. IIt has performed Ram leela for forty long years. It must be written here that this event has been drawing audience for the last many years.
On the first day, the events of Narada Moh, Vishwa Mohini Swayam, Ravan Tapasya, Shriram Birth, Nomination and Tadka-Subahu Slaughter will be staged.
On the second day i.e. on October 11, there will be a series of Ahilya Salvar, Flower Vatika, Ashtashakhi dialogue, Shriram wedding, Ravana-Banasur, lakshman-Parasuram dialogues. On the third day, on October 12, the coronation announcement will be staged, Kaikeyi-Manthra and Kekeyi-Dashrath Dialogue, Kavit Kontakshan, Dasaratha Dahir, Bharat-Kekaii Dialogues, Nishadraj Bhatte and Bharat Milap.
On the fourth day of Ramlila, i.e. on October 13, the context of Sunshine, Panchavati theme, Khar-Dushti vadh, Sita Haran, Jatayu Moksha and Shabri will be staged.
On the fifth day i.e. October 14, the theme of Sugriva Maitri, Bali slaughter, Sita's search, gift meeting, Akshay Kumar slaughter, Ravana-Hanuman dialogue and links to lanka will be presented. Ramteetu Bandhan, Vibhishan Saranagati, Ravana-Angad dialogue, laxman Shakti, Kalenami slaughter and Kumbhakaran vadh will be staged on Ramami on sixth day i.e. October 15.
Ram leela will conclude on October 16. On this day Meghnad vadh, Sulocha Vilap, Ahiravana slaughter, Ravana vadh and Shriram coronation ceremony will be staged.
