The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has claimed that the people of Uttar Pradesh (UP) by showing the due place to the Samajwadi Party (SP) and the Congress party proved that the people of the country have been disillusioned by the communal frenzy.
BJP spokesman Rakesh Sharma in a statement here on Monday said, “The communal riots in UP did not take place instantly instead they were result of well-planned strategy of the SP.”
Sharma further said that after a minor incident the shortsightedness and inactive administrations’ decision to take off loudspeakers from a temple brought the communities face to face. The administration by doing one sided action incited the other community. Now by leveling charges of saffron conspiracy behind the riots neither the SP could emerge clear of the charges of inciting people for riots nor could the Congress could get clean chit from the same charges, he added.
He said that if the SP and the Congress had moral courage than they would have set up an enquiry commission to bring out the reality of the riots. But the UP government did not showed courage for this because this would have exposed the black side of their mindset, he added.
He said that by leveling allegations on the BJP through one sided report the SP and the Congress are acting like advocate and court in order to confuse the people of country. But the people now understands well that since independence the Congress and self proclaimed secular political parties have remain indulged in doing communal polarization that has been disapproved by people of country who have shown SP and Congress there real place in the lok Sabha elections, he added.
