The workers of the self proclaimed party with differences, BJP came to blows with each other at the Khajuraho international airport on Saturday over the issue of welcoming party president Rajnath Singh.
The BJP workers abused each other, used canes and after sometime when the situation worsened, some workers opened fires in the air. One party worker was reportedly injured in the incident. The issue also reached to the police but no FIR was registered till late in night.
Surprisingly, the hooliganism took place in the presence of National BJP president Rajnath Singh, State president Narensra Singh Tomar and State organisational generals secretary Arvind Menon, who remained mute spectators to the whole episode. Rajnath had arrived at Khajuraho to reach Rewa for launching Atal Jyoti Yojna.
