R Krishnan, Director, HR, BHEl on Wednesday visited various manufacturing blocks of BHEl, Bhopal, appreciating the new facilities developed for better quality of the products being manufactured. On this occasion Shashi Ranjan Prasad, Executive Director and all General Managers were present.
During the visit Krishnan inaugurated the Plasma Cutting Machine installed at Block 1A.
The quality of the product is the most important aspect in today’s competitive environment, said Krishnan. To counter the challenges of multinational companies it is crucial for BHEl to produce products of international standards.
Similarly, Krishnan analyzed the performance of the work carried out in the first quarter. He also discussed on the roadmap for the achieving the turnover target of the ensuing period. later, Krishnan held discussion with the new engineers urging them to maximize their contribution for the progress of the organisation.
Earlier, the two-day IT Heads Meet-2014 held at BHEl Bhopal concluded here on Tuesday. R Krishnan, Director (HR), BHEl was present as the Chief Guest on this occasion. Rajiv Garg, General Manager (In charge), Corporate IT, Sanjeev Gupta, General Manager (P&D, IT) and IT heads of various BHEl units along with other officials were present during the programme.
Krishnan, speaking on this occasion, said that the role of IT in integrating the business processes is of paramount importance facilitating efficient and right decisions to be made for the benefit of the organisation.
laying stress on the need to chalk out a new action plan on IT roadmap, Krishnan said that the progress should be monitored periodically.
On this occasion, IT heads from different units made presentations on major IT projects planned by the respective unit. The brainstorming sessions were held on select items arising out of units presentations and action plans to achieve the IT roadmap on major strategic plan projects were finalised.
