Rahul trying to create political myth against RSS: BJP chief

State BJP president and MP Nandkumar Singh Chauhan said that the affidavit of Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi in the court exposed the mask of false accusations.

Chauhan, in a statement here on Saturday, said, “The statement given by Rahul outside the court after submitting affidavit was that ‘I will never stop fighting the hateful and divisive agenda of the RSS. I stand by every single word I said’ is an attempt to create political myth. We are confident that the court would take cognisance of that.”

Chauhan further said that it is the need of policy and ethics that Rahul Gandhi should stop taking support of lies for getting cheap publicity. The Congress should stick to whatever was said by Rahul in the court while submitting affidavit in the interest of political morality and purity; and the Congressmen should take oath that they would standby whatever is said by Rahul in the affidavit. Rahul has said in the court that “I never blamed the RSS as the killer of Gandhi but a person associated with the RSS,” he added.

He said that many Congressmen are involved in suppression and exploitation of Dalits in the country but did someone ever hold the Congress responsible for that. Did the Congress could be held guilty of person associated with itIJ

Notably, Rahul Gandhi has been accused of having blamed the RSS for the killing of the Mahatma Gandhi, during his campaign for the 2014 lok Sabha elections and in its clarification before the court recently he submitted an affidavit stating that “I never blamed the RSS as the killer of Gandhi but a person associated with the RSS”.
