Quota of 46,500 Kl kerosene has been allocated in the State under the public distribution system of the Mukhyamantri Annapurna Yojana. Shop-wise information about allocation is available on departmental website www.food.mp.gov.in. Allotted kerosene will be distributed to 17.02 lakh families including 14.45 lakh families (upto 6 members) and 2.57 lakh families (over 6 members) of Antyodaya Anna Yojana at the rate of 5 litres per family. Similarly, 4 litre per family kerosene will be distributed to 99.13 lakh priority families. Food and Civil Supplies Department has issued directives to collectors regarding timely distribution of kerosene quota for May.
