In a grand programme held at IFX Conference Hall BHEl, Bhopal DK Thakur Executive Director (BHEl, Bhopal) Kishore Purswani, Executive Director (COM) and MS Kinra General Manager (HR & Quality) inaugurated the beginning of the Quality month programme. On this occasion all general managers, senior officials of Quality Department and HODs of various department were present.
Thakur in his address said that in times of challenging business environment, quality is an aspect which is capable of keeping the demand as well as the credibility of the product intact. At every stage of the product manufacturing process, all employees should feel the responsibility of the product to be their own responsibility.
The sense of satisfaction and glory which we feel on successful commissioning of any job, similar sense of pain should be realized on finding of any shortcomings and failure in the product.
Citing the Chairman and Managing Director Thakur said that at present there are a lot of challenges before BHEl, the first battle has been won and we are on the quest for the next victory where quality is one of the prime weapon.
Purswani throwing light on the various aspect of quality said that quality should have a place in our thoughts. It is the primary requirement for the existence of any product. He further said that once the product rolls out of the factory premises, it shall never return back for any re-work and maintenance job, which must be our concern.
Earlier, Kinra welcoming the guest briefed the gathering about the programmes to be organised during the month. He said that if we do any work with normal enthusiasm, then no burden will be felt upon us nor will there be any error. On this occasion the speech of Former President of India APJ Abdul Kalam on quality was also played. AK Chaturvedi, AGM (QCX) held the programme and Anurag Shukla coordinated the programme.
