Public Works Department's advisory committee has suggested curbing of truck overloading for road maintenance. Its meeting was chaired by PWD Minister Sartaj Singh here on Tuesday.
Pressure of excessive load of multi-axel trucks on roads and their maintenance, were discussed in the meeting. Members urged to widen important roads in the state in view of constantly increasing number of vehicles. MlA members Narendra Singh Kushwaha, Manoj Nirbhay Singh and Dilip Singh Shekhawat attended the meeting.
