Speaker of Madhya Pradesh State Assembly Girish Gautam expressed his views on the subject of new education policy in the lecture series organized by Shri Arovindo Society Madhya Pradesh under Arvind Sarthshati celebrations in the capital on Saturday.
Gautam said that the purpose of education is to build life. The task of education is to build the future with the preservation of values.
Knowledge should be emotional, not linguistic. What is the situation today, why has our government felt the need to bring a new education policy. Because in the last few decades, neither did we change the form of education according to the need of the time, nor did we work to make it practical and employment-oriented. The new education policy is a confluence of knowledge, skills, culture and practicality.
He said that when we are moving towards civilization from an uncivilized society, education starts with the effort to keep our culture, culture and tradition alive. The government has made the policy of education but new education is a different subject.
The new education policy of India, adequate place has been given to skills along with knowledge, while arrangements have been made to preserve the culture and values and to pass them on to the new generation. In our nation there was a wide spread of science, language and other knowledge in the Vedic age, but this fact has not been brought to the fore.
Chief National Spokesperson Brajmohan Srivastava, Senior Journalist and Society President Umesh Trivedi and Manoj Sharma were present.
