The proposal made regarding the new collector guideline is still not approved. Due to this , the proposal has not yet been sent to the District Evaluation Committee. It was called back by the Registration Department for revision, but till now no decision has been taken regarding the rates and location of the property.

It is being told that this time, in view of the election year, the registration department is secretly preparing to increase the property prices. For this reason, the second meeting could not be held on the proposal made so far.

The proposal has been prepared after the survey regarding the collector guidelines for the financial year 2023-24. In this, out of 4,100 locations, it has been proposed to increase property prices by five to 15 percent at 100 locations in the city.

A meeting of the sub-district evaluation committee was held regarding this, in which after discussion the proposal was sent to all. It is being told that due to the election year, there can be a change in the rates along with the fixed location.

For this reason, the second meeting of the sub-district evaluation committee is delayed. The chairman of the committee, Akash Srivastava, said that the proposal is still being discussed. Probably there will be a meeting on March 6, after which it will be sent to the District Evaluation Committee. From here, the proposal will be sent to the Central Evaluation Board after getting the final approval.
